All blinds come complete with their own simple step by step instructions.
Below is for the most standard blind installations.
What you will need
- Power drill
- Drill bit
- Phillips screwdriver (the one with the crossed head)
- A pencil
Which drill bit?
If you're drilling into concrete, brick or plaster you should use a 5.5mm diameter masonry drill bit. If you're drilling into wood, steel or uPVC you should use a 3mm diameter high-speed steel (HSS) drill bit.
4 Simple steps to install your blind
|
Step 1
Gather your tools and unpack your blind. Inside you'll find all the fixtures and fittings you'll need, as well as a more comprehensive set of instructions.
|
 |
Step 2
Decide where to position the blind and mark out your drill holes. In most cases you'll only need to drill 2 holes. Usually these should be positioned about 15cm from the end of the blind. Wider blinds will need more holes drilled, but don't worry, full details will come with your blind.

 |
Step 3
Drill your holes and then screw the brackets into place. You'll also be provided with rawl plugs, should you need to use them.
|
 |
Step 4
Fit your blind into the brackets. Almost all styles of blind will just click into place, it really is that easy.
